The death toll in the air raid near Beirut Hospital rises to 13.

The death toll from a late-night Israeli air strike on a hospital outside the Lebanese capital Beirut has risen to 13, Lebanon's health ministry said.

Israeli forces launched airstrikes on 13 suspected Hezbollah strongholds in Beirut's southern suburbs on Monday night, particularly in areas near Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the largest public hospital.

Initially, the death toll was announced as four, but it increased to 13 in a day, including a child.

The number of injured also rose from 24 to 57, seven of whom are in critical condition, the health ministry said.
