With the U.S. presidential election just 10 days away, hostile countries are attempting to hack presidential candidate camps.
The Associated Press reported that Chinese hackers attempted to hack into the phones of former President Donald Trump, a Republican presidential candidate, and his running mate J.D. Vance, a vice presidential candidate.
The FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has launched an investigation, and it has not been confirmed what information has been leaked from former President Trump and Vice Presidential candidate Vance's mobile phones.
In response, Trump's camp took aim at Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming that the current administration has emboldened hacking attacks by foreign forces.
Last month, the U.S. Justice Department indicted three Iranian hackers, saying they had "prepared and implemented a hacking operation" targeting former President Trump's lawyer, former CIA officials and former U.S. ambassador.
