UN Secretary-General Condemns North Korea's Missile LaunchViolation of Security Council resolutions"

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres says he strongly condemns North Korea's long-range ballistic missile launch.

In a statement, Guterres said North Korea's continued ballistic missile launches were a violation of relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions.

He also stressed that only diplomatic solutions can achieve complete denuclearization and sustainable peace on the Korean Peninsula, saying he is concerned about the situation on the Korean Peninsula and calls for easing tensions.
