Shin Ji-eun tied for the lead in the BMW Championship, the country's only LPGA event.
In the first round of the tournament, which opened at Seowon Valley in Paju, Shin made eight birdies without a bogey to finish at 8 under par, taking the top spot on the leaderboard along with South Africa's Buchai and Australia's Hannah Green.
