While the Korea Football Association is in conflict with the government over the process of appointing a coach, Gianni Infantino, president of the International Football Federation and FIFA, fired a check ball.

Infantino, who visited Seoul, told reporters that FIFA values autonomy very much, and stressed that the Korea Football Association is an exemplary institution without problems.

FIFA also sent a warning in an official letter last month that the Korea Football Association has a legal obligation to avoid undue pressure from outside, such as political interference.

Infantino visited Korea for the Asian Football Confederation's annual awards ceremony, and visited the soccer center in Shinmun-ro for the first time in seven years, meeting with Chairman Chung Mong-gyu and Vice President Kim Jung-bae.

Let's hear what Infantino says.

[Jannie Infantino / FIFA President: The autonomy of the association is very important to us no matter what the KFA decides to coach the national team or make any other decision. That way, we can see that the results are good. The Korea Football Association has no problem.]
