A five-star hotel buffet in Daegu was caught marking raw beef mixed with Australian beef as if it were first-class Korean beef.
The Gyeongbuk Branch of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Agency plans to investigate the general manager of the hotel kitchen for violating the country of origin labeling and send it to the prosecution.
The hotel was found to have mixed Australian beef used for lunch with Korean beef and marked it as "Korean first-class Korean beef raw beef."
