A fire broke out in a detached house in Deoksan-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, at around 9 p.m. yesterday (24th) and was extinguished in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The fire took an elderly man in his 90s to a hospital with first-degree burns on his face and smoke, causing property damage estimated by the fire department of 29 million won.
The fire department believes that the fire started due to electrical factors on the boiler room side.
