As rapidly developing digital devices enter daily life, the late-adapted age group has no choice but to bear inconvenience.

Incheon City is receiving a great response by providing close education to ensure that the elderly are not marginalized.

It is a digital learning center at an apartment complex community center in Incheon.

For residents in their 60s and 70s, dispatched instructors have started training on how to use kiosks.

I learn how to order food and tea and practice.

Then, we will go to a nearby cafe and start field training.

[Digital Education Instructor: I'm going to order the drink I want to drink today through hands-on training on what I've learned about kiosks.]

I'm going to choose the menu, decide the size and quantity, and put the card in to pay.

However, it is also confusing with where the receipt is issued.

It usually took about three minutes from the order to receive the receipt, but now I have confidence.

[Choi Sun-kyo / Guwol-dong, Incheon: When I see my friends, they run away when they have difficulties. I think it's good to have the confidence to lead and guide you with confidence.]

In order to increase the digital confidence of the elderly, Incheon City has launched a detailed hands-on training on how to use smartphone apps and kiosks.

We have created two permanent learning centers, and we are also conducting dispatch and online training at the same time.

[Lee Hee-sun / Incheon Information Service Team Leader: In 25, we will operate two permanent digital learning centers and three experience zones, and if you apply for dispatch training, you will visit anywhere in Incheon.]

To this end, the Incheon Metropolitan Government has decided to expand the number of instructors to 44 and provide education benefits for nearly 20,000 people.
