Three-day Army trainee dies unconscious while running

An army trainee was unconscious and died three days after joining the army.

An Army official said a trainee in his early 20s lost consciousness while doing a group walk at an Army unit in Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, at around 7:30 a.m. today (21st).The

119 ambulance took the trainee to the hospital, but he died during treatment.

The army explained that it was a normal running step under the leadership of the assistant, and there was nothing unusual about it.

Trainee A was found to have joined the army on the 19th.

The Army and police are investigating the exact cause and circumstances of death and whether there were any problems with the accident.
