[Seoul] Homeless households with 'birth' will pay 7.2 million won for housing for two years.

Starting this year, homeless households in Seoul will be able to receive 300,000 won per month for childbirth and 7.2 million won for two years.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said it will launch the nation's first "Household Cost Support Project" so that homeless households living in Seoul can continue to live in Seoul after giving birth.

The 300,000 won support is the difference in monthly housing costs between Seoul and its metropolitan apartments, and the city explained that 61% of the 325,000 people who moved to Gyeonggi or Incheon from Seoul last year were due to "family and housing."

The applicants are homeless households who gave birth this year, who live in rental housing with a lease of 300 million won or 1.3 million won per month with less than 180% of the standard median income.

Households who want to receive support can apply at the "All Information All-round Key" website from May to July with a lease contract with a fixed date, and the final selection result will be announced in October.
