Myung Seo-hyun, the wife of soccer player Jung Dae-se, revealed what she experienced during her first meeting with her mother-in-law.

"When I started dating four months ago, my mother-in-law asked me to say hello, so I went to Japan right away," Myung Seo-hyun said in a pre-released video of MBN's "Decision to Divorce at least once."

"I was so scared that I thought, 'What the hell are you going to do to me without Mr. Dae-su?'" he said. "What you said at first was, 'Why are you so popular?' and he asked me about personal things such as 'I will manage the cost of living when I get married,' and 'How tall are you and how much do you weigh?'"

Myung Seo-hyun said, "I was so scared and I still can't forget that look. I knelt down and talked to my mother for two hours, he said. "I thought too much, 'Can I handle it?'"

Jeong Dae-se, who was listening to it in the studio, said, "I've never heard of this before. Of course, I thought I would have said good things," he said, surprised.

Myung Seo-hyun said, "I think I was prepared at first. I thought, "I have to do really well, and if I show you my hard work, your mother will understand and accept it as a daughter-in-law," but it wasn't easy.

Earlier, Myung Seo-hyun confessed on the show that he had even taken a depression drug due to a conflict between his mother and son, saying, "I'm not thinking 'I want to die' but 'I won't die even if I fall from the second floor' because my mother-in-law's life is so bad."

Jeong Dae-se married Myung Seo-hyun, a former flight attendant, in 2013 and has one son and one daughter.
