Comedian Lee Jin-ho did not attend the production presentation of "Comedy Revenge" while confessing that he touched illegal gambling.
A production presentation for Netflix's original entertainment show "Comedy Revenge" was held at 11 a.m. today (14th) at Dongdaemun V Space in Seoul. Producer Kwon Hae-bom, producer Park Hyun-suk, Lee Kyung-kyu, Park Na-rae, Lee Yong-jin, Hwang Je-sung, Kim Kyung-wook, Kim Yong-myung, Lee Sang-joon, mirage, Kwak Beom, Lee Chang-ho, Lee Sun-min, Cho Hoon, Shin Shin Jae-jin, Lee Jae-yul, Um Ji-mi, Kim Ji-yu, and Song Ha-bin were present.
Originally, Lee Jin-ho was on the list of participants in the production presentation, but he did not appear at the scene after directly revealing the illegal gambling. In this regard, producer Kwon Hae-bom said, "I wish I had time to figure it out, but I heard it right before I came in. "The production team and the staff didn't know at all," he said. "I haven't even read the article yet and I'm currently figuring it out."
Lee Kyung-kyu said, "'Comedy Revenge' is not a one-person program, so it is not shaken by one-person privacy. We heard the news, but we don't mind, and our program will proceed as scheduled," he said calmly.
Lee Jin-ho said on his SNS earlier in the day, "I started playing on an Internet illegal gambling site as an accidental opportunity in 2020 and took on a debt that was too much to handle," adding, "I'm so ashamed and sorry."
He said, "I would also like to bow down and apologize to many of you who would have been disappointed by me who caused a social stir and rushed to hide it. I will also sincerely receive the police investigation and pay for my fault," he apologized.
