Byeon Woo-seok's fan meeting ticket for 77,000 won is sold for 2.35 million won...Caught a ticket using a macro
Seven scalpers who sold tickets for a fan meeting at a regular price of 77,000 won for 2.35 million won were arrested.

According to a report by Yonhap News on the 1st, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Crime Prevention and Order Division arrested seven male and female scalpers in their 20s and 30s who used macro programs to purchase tickets for famous singers' performances and resell them.

From 2021 to August this year, they are accused of using macro programs to purchase famous singer concerts and musical tickets or reselling tickets to used markets to make profits.

They were found to have resold tickets to concerts such as singer Na Hoon-ah, Lim Young-woong, and virtual (virtual) girl group Lee Se-gye idol "Lilpa" and various performances such as musicals "Dracula" and "Great Comat" in this way.

Among them, the most expensive ticket sold was a ticket to actor Byun Woo-suk's fan meeting held in July. The ticket, worth 77,000 won, was traded at 2.35 million won. Tickets for Lim Young-woong's concert, with a regular price of 177,000 won, were also sold up to 800,000 won per ticket.

The police plan to establish a joint response consultative body with major performances, sports venue management agencies, ticket reservation offices, sports and entertainment agencies, as there is a limit to solving the ticket problem only through crackdown and investigation.

Meanwhile, the performance law, revised in March, imposes a sentence of up to one year in prison or a fine of up to 10 million won for fraudulent sales of tickets using macros.
