Prime Minister Han said, "Next year's APEC meeting will be held in cities other than Gyeongju."

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo said next year's APEC-related conference will be held in several cities, including Incheon and Jeju, as well as Gyeongju, the host city.

Prime Minister Han made the remarks while finalizing the basic plan at the 3rd Preparatory Committee for the APEC Summit held at the Government Complex in Seoul today (the 2nd).

Prime Minister Han emphasized that the presidency will serve as an opportunity for Korea to grow in national dignity, showing that it has the capability to lead various cooperation agendas as a global hub.

At the same time, government ministries, local governments, and economic organizations asked them to do their best to ensure that there is not a single error in the preparation for the summit.
