A civic group has filed a complaint with the police again against Ryu Hee-rim, chairman of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, over the alleged "civil petition owner."

The People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy and the Whistle Foundation held a press conference in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency today (2nd) and announced that they would accuse Chairman Ryu of obstruction of business.

They explained that they filed a complaint against Chairman Ryu earlier this year on the same charges, but decided to file a further complaint because there was no progress in the investigation, with no summons investigation conducted for the accused for more than eight months.

He also demanded that Chairman Ryu conduct a strict investigation into public interest informants accused of violating the Personal Information Protection Act, saying that high-intensity investigations such as seizure and search are being conducted.

Chairman Ryu is suspected of having his family and acquaintances file a complaint to deliberate on reports citing the recordings of Newstapa's "Kim Man-bae-Shin Hak-rim Interview."
