[Incheon] To be held next year in Incheon, including APEC international conferences and senior management meetings.

Some of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and APEC international conferences will be held in Incheon next year.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that the third high-level management meeting and five ministerial meetings in conjunction with the 2025 APEC summit to be held next November will be held in Incheon.

Earlier, at the preparatory committee for the 2nd APEC 2025 Summit held on June 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to hold various meetings, including high-level management meetings and ministerial meetings by field, to make Gyeongju the host city.

A total of five high-level management meetings are key meetings that shape the agenda to be addressed at the summit, including directing and supervising APEC-affiliated meeting activities and reporting major agreements to the summit and joint cabinet meetings.

Among them, the third high-ranking official meeting in Incheon is the largest meeting, and about 3,000 people, including delegations from each country, will attend for about three weeks from late July to mid-August.

In addition, five out of 11 ministerial meetings in each field will be held in Incheon during the APEC period.

Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, "Based on the world's best MICE infrastructure such as Incheon International Airport and Songdo Convensia, we will showcase Incheon's cultural capabilities and make it a successful event worthy of our country's national prestige."
