It is a survey of abnormal housing transactions in the Seoul metropolitan area that the government is conducting in collaboration with related agencies to prevent demand for real estate speculation.

Housing in the metropolitan area, including 45 apartment complexes in 3 Gangnam districts and Mapo, Yongsan, and Seongdong-gu in Seoul, are subject to the survey.

So far, 397 suspected illegal transactions have been confirmed, with Seoul having the largest number of transactions with 270, followed by Gyeonggi Province.

Seoul has more than half of the regulated areas, including 3 Gangnam districts and Yongsan-gu, while suspected illegal transactions were mainly made in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, and Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.

In a specific example, buyer A raised funds by buying an apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul for 2.1 billion won and borrowing 1.4 billion won from his mother.

It is a case of suspected expedient gift because not a penny of one's own money goes into it.

In addition, an apartment complex that sought to fix housing prices through an open chat room on SNS,
Even after signing the
apartment contract, a licensed real estate agent who re-registered for sale seven times on the Internet was caught.

In addition, there have been a series of cases such as misappropriation of corporate funds, false reporting on the contract date, and violation of loan regulations.

[Nam Young-woo / Land Policy Officer at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: The National Tax Service, the Financial Services Commission, and local governments will be notified of suspected illegal transactions, and each agency plans to take strong measures such as collecting unpaid taxes, collecting and restricting loans, imposing fines, and suspending business through further investigation.]

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it notified related agencies of 160 cases suspected of expedient donations in an apartment direct investigation last year.

In addition, on-site inspections will be expanded to the entire metropolitan area, including the first new city, and surveys will be conducted by the end of the year to prevent planned real estate or foreign real estate speculation that results in many victims.
