Fire in Seongnam Multifamily Housing..."Electric pad ignition estimate".

A fire broke out on the first floor of a four-story multi-family house in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 2:30 a.m. today (4th).

Five residents were taken to a hospital after inhaling smoke from the fire, and 20 were rescued.

Fearing casualties, the fire authorities once issued the first stage of response to mobilize all personnel of the competent fire department and put out the fire in 50 minutes.

Fire authorities believe the electric pad caught fire and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
