Oh My Girl's Gong Ji-ho stars in the drama 'Treasure Island'...the first attempt at acting in a positive drama

Actress Gong Ji-ho, a former member of the girl group Oh My Girl, is trying to act in a positive drama for the first time through the SBS drama "Treasure Island."

SBS' new drama "Treasure Island," which is scheduled to air in 2025, is a story of a man who hacked political slush fund accounts worth 2 trillion won to survive and a man who killed the man without knowing that he was hacked and lost 2 trillion won. Previously, the casting of Park Hyung-sik and Heo Jun-ho was announced.

Gong Ji-ho plays the role of Myeong Tae-geum, the assistant of Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) in the play. On the surface, he is the president of an old musical instrument store, but he is a successor to a private loan family from a genius hacker, and he helps his friend Seo Dong-ju by crossing the line between illegality and legality.

Gong Ji-ho, who has been loved for his intelligent appearance, sophisticated charm, and dreamy and lovely image. Through this 'Treasure Island', it is expected to take a meaningful step forward as the first cathode acting challenge and prove its potential as an actor.
