The arrest of a person in his 40s who threatened and assaulted a neighbor with a weapon

Police have arrested a man in his 40s who threatened and beat his neighbor with a weapon to hurt him.

Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul is investigating a man in his 40s on charges of special injury.

Mr. A is accused of threatening a man in his 20s living in a neighbor's house with a weapon and injuring him by hitting the neck several times at an officetel in Jeongneung-dong, Seoul, at around 11:30 p.m. last night (4th).

A was not drunk at the time of the crime, but he reportedly committed the crime because he was angry while arguing with the victim.

The police are investigating the specific motive of the crime against A.
