As the number of hikers visiting the mountain in cool weather increased, safety accidents occurred one after another in northern Gyeonggi Province.


At around 9:40 a.m. yesterday (3rd), a woman in her 70s fell over a stone at Yebongsan Mountain in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and rolled 6 meters down the slope, seriously injuring her head.

The woman, who was taken to the hospital by helicopter, was not said to be life-threatening.In Bukhansan, Deokyang-gu, Goyang-si,

, a woman in her 30s who fell while hiking fractured her ankle, and in Obongsan, Jangheung-myeon, Yangju-si, a rescue team was dispatched due to a cramp in the leg of a woman in her 60s.

Fire authorities said that the risk of injury should be reduced by releasing enough legs and feet before and after hiking, and that you should climb the mountain early and go down before 4 p.m. in the fall when the sun is shorter.
