People's Power accused the Democratic Party of defending former Vice Governor Lee Hwa-young, who was sentenced to heavy punishment in the first trial to protect Lee Jae-myung, and the opposition party responded that the ruling party joined the prosecution's manipulation of the case.

The People's Power has undermined former Deputy Governor Lee Hwa-young's alleged "statement fabrication" at the National Assembly hearing as a lie that has already been dismissed in the first trial court.

Ahead of the trial of Lee Jae-myung, who was indicted in the same case, the Democratic Party of Korea slammed the criminal for providing a false argument.

Former lieutenant governor Lee urged him to clarify the allegations of lobbying by former chairman Kim Sung-tae, which were revealed at the hearing.

Didn't former chairman Kim Sung-tae say he was afraid to reveal that he helped Lee Jae-myung's trial in the past and illegally sponsored it, claiming that further investigation is needed.
