Khamenei "attack on Israel, legitimate and justified"

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appeared in public for the first time since a massive missile attack on Israel on the 1st, calling the attack "legal and justified."

"The last attack is a minimal retribution for Israel's crimes," Khamenei said at Friday's weekly service at Tehran's Grand Mosala Mosque on Friday local time.

At the same time, Iran emphasized that it would not "delay its obligations or act hastily" in confronting Israel.

This is the first time Khamenei has appeared in public since Iran launched a large-scale missile attack on Israel on the 1st.
