A 2.1-magnitude earthquake struck around 10:10 p.m. today (4th) in waters 50km west of Eocheongdo Island in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.

The epicenter is 36.08 degrees north latitude and 125.42 degrees east longitude, with an earthquake depth of 12 kilometers.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that there would be no earthquake damage, saying it is an intensity that most people cannot feel.
