The Defense Acquisition Program Administration says a memorandum of compromise trade agreement has been signed between British defense company MBDA, which sold the mid-range air-to-air missile "Mitier" to be mounted on domestic fighter KF-21, and domestic defense innovator Micro Infinity.

An eclectic trade is a form of trade in which when purchasing foreign weapons or equipment, domestic parts are exported in return or related defense technologies are transferred to the country.

Micro Infinity was selected as a defense innovation company in satellite navigation last year, and the DAPA said the agreement was the first time a defense innovation company exports to a foreign country through trade-offs.

The Mittier missile, a medium-range air-to-air missile, is considered the best air-to-air missile in existence that can fly at Mach 4 or higher and shoot down enemy fighter jets 200 kilometers above.

The DAPA said it is a meaningful achievement of its policy to foster outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises in defense, and that it will give preference to exports of innovative enterprises in compromised trade.
