Yoon held a joint press conference with Philippine President Marcos and said, "I am very happy to make a state visit to the Philippines, a key ally of South Korea in ASEAN, to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries."President

Yoon introduced the major achievements of the summit and said he will strengthen strategic cooperation in the security field and strengthen the foundation for nuclear cooperation between the two countries, including participating in the third phase of the Philippines' military modernization project.President

Yoon also stressed that South Korea and the Philippines agreed to cooperate for the denuclearization of North Korea and the faithful implementation of Security Council resolutions, and agreed on the importance of peace, stability and security in the South China Sea.
