Japan's JAXA also snatches high-ranking official's account in cyberattack

The Asahi Shimbun reported that the forces that cyber-attacked Japan's Aerospace Research and Development Organization, JAXA, four times since last year used the accounts of the highest-ranking officials, including the chairman and directors, to access confidential information.


According to reports, about 200 accounts were also stolen when 5,000 personal data of JAXA employees and affiliates were stolen in a cyberattack in June last year, including the accounts of five directors.The

high-ranking account also has access to advanced information, such as negotiations with external organizations.
