The Democratic Party of Korea has submitted a request for a permanent special prosecution investigation targeting First Lady Kim Gun-hee and the president's office to the National Assembly.

Before pursuing the Special Prosecutor Act on First Lady Kim, which was abolished at the request of President Yoon Suk Yeol's reconsideration, he said he would use the Permanent Special Prosecutor Act, which was promulgated 10 years ago by agreement between the ruling and opposition parties.

The investigation targets include "Sambu Construction Suspicion" and "External Pressure on Customs Drug Investigation" involving Lee Jong-ho, a Deutsche Motors stock manipulator who managed Kim's stock account in the past.
