Russia attacked Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine with an induction bomb on the 8th local time, killing at least two people and injuring more than 30 people, including children.


Kharkiv Governor Oleg Cinehubowo said on Telegram that Russian forces dropped four guided bombs on Kharkiv on the afternoon of the 8th, according to Reuters.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Tereho also said civilian production facilities were attacked and set on fire.

Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city 30 kilometers from the Russian border, has been a frequent target of attacks since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

On the 24th of last month, Russian forces also attacked an apartment building in Kharkiv, killing at least three people and injuring 22 others, and also hitting the apartment building with guided bombs on the 2nd.
