A passenger car hits a pedestrian near Shintanjin Station in Daejeon...a serious jaywalker in his 20s.

A car hit a pedestrian jaywalking on the road in front of Sintanjin Station in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon at around 0:50 a.m. today (9th).

was taken to the hospital unconscious after a man in his 20s was seriously injured in the accident.

Police believe the accident occurred while crossing without permission based on vehicle black boxes and road CCTVs, and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.

A sobriety test of a passenger car driver found that he did not drink alcohol.
