State media reported that North Korea had revised the Constitution by holding the Supreme People's Assembly, which had been announced, but did not mention the deletion of "unification" ordered by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

The Korean Central News Agency reported that the 11th meeting of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly was held at the Mansudae Capitol in Pyongyang for two days from the day before (7th) to revise some of the socialist constitution.

However, he did not mention the deletion of provisions related to "unification" or the establishment of new territorial provisions ordered by Chairman Kim in January, and Chairman Kim did not attend the meeting.

At the meeting, however, Choi Ryong-hae, the standing chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly, reported that the revision of labor and election age was reflected in the constitutional amendment, and light industry laws and external economic laws were adopted, the news agency said.

In addition, at this meeting, the Defense Minister was replaced by the former Kang Soon-nam, who signed the agreement at the time of the September 19 inter-Korean military agreement in 2018.

Earlier at the end of last year, Chairman Kim defined inter-Korean relations as a "hostile two countries" relationship, and in January this year ordered the removal of expressions such as "unification" and "relatives" from the Constitution and the establishment of territorial provisions to institutionalize them.
