Prosecutors will not indict Rep. Park Kyun-taek with a message of slander against the other candidate...an indictment of an accounting officer

Prosecutors have not indicted Rep. Park Kyun-taek of the Democratic Party of Korea on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act.

The Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office disposed of Park, who sent a message slandering the other candidate under the name of "all supporters."

Rep. Park was booked and sent to the prosecution on charges of sending text messages to constituents during the 22nd National Assembly election candidate and sending them in the name of "all supporters," not his name.

However, the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office separately indicted Park's election office accounting manager, who was sent on charges of overspending the election cost limit for the general election without detention.
