Police summon 'Japanese murder' father's defamation charge

Baek's father, who is on trial for murdering a neighbor with a Japanese road at an apartment in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, has been summoned by the police as a suspect for defamation of the lion's name.

The Seobu Police Station in Seoul received a complaint from the victim's bereaved family on the 4th of last month and recently called in Baek to investigate.

Baek is accused of defaming the victim by posting comments on the portal site defending his son's crimes, such as "a killer to prevent Chinese spies" and "a crime for righteousness."

The police, who raided the portal site Naver earlier, confirmed that the real owner of the account with the comment in question was Mr. Baek, and will soon hand over Mr. Baek to the prosecution.
