The prosecution is expected to announce the results of the investigation this week in connection with the alleged manipulation of the stock price of Deutsche Motors by First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

Until now, it has been widely expected that Kim will be prosecuted for "lack of evidence," but the prosecution's last-minute struggles have deepened as the ruling party also seems to be pressing for "prosecution."

Reporter Kwon Junsu reports.

The prosecution, which has been investigating Kim Gun-hee's alleged involvement in Deutsche Motors stock manipulation for more than four years, is expected to announce its final results this week.

Following the direct investigation of Kim in July, the prosecution effectively completed the investigation by investigating more than 90 "Jeonju" people, including Kim's mother Choi Eun-soon.We have also completed the analysis of the appeals court ruling in which Mr. Son, who lent an account like Mrs.

Kim, was convicted of 'aiding'.

Initially, the investigation team reportedly weighed in on the non-prosecution of Kim.

We have not secured evidence or statements to believe that Mrs. Kim was directly involved in the stock price manipulation or knew the stock price manipulation.

[Park Sung-jae / Minister of Justice (last 8th): If this evidence alone is sufficient to prosecute, why couldn't it be processed (before)? I'm sure there's a reason for that, but wouldn't the people who are investigating now be thinking the same thing....]

However, suspicions have grown again as the statements of Mrs. Kim and her accomplices have recently been made public,
Public opinion pressure continued due to suspicions of intervention in the nomination of First Lady Kim
and the last-minute agony deepened.

It is also burdensome for the prosecution to make remarks suggesting the need for prosecution not only from the opposition party but also from the ruling party.

[Han Dong-hoon / Representative of People's Power (last 10th): I think we should produce results that are convincing to the public (about the Deutsche Motors investigation)]

Inside and outside the prosecution, it is expected that the final results of the disposition will be announced before the Central District Prosecutors' Office's parliamentary audit scheduled for the 18th, and the controversy is expected to continue no matter what the conclusion is.
