Police investigating the drug smuggling case involving customs were found to have identified and booked the Korean gunman.

Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Bong-sik said yesterday (15th) when asked about the progress of the investigation at the parliamentary inspection of the National Assembly's administration and security committee, "We arrested the Korean general in charge and wanted foreigners to Interpol."

The South Korean chief is considered an important figure to uncover suspicions of customs involvement as Malaysian organizations previously stated that they played a role in handing over photos of members to customs officials in smuggling drugs.

Since September last year, Commissioner Kim has executed a total of six search and seizure warrants, and although a quick and strict investigation is important as it is a matter of public interest, he said he will finalize the investigation according to appropriate principles and procedures.
