The prosecution has demanded a four-year prison term for Hwang Ui-jo, a soccer player accused of illegal filming.

The Seoul Central District Court held the first trial of Hwang, who is suspected of violating the Special Act on Sexual Violence Punishment, etc. today (16th).

Hwang admitted to all charges surrounding him in court, with prosecutors seeking a four-year prison term for Hwang.

The prosecution explained that the victim's wounds and shame are likely to have been severe, and it is questionable whether Hwang is truly reflecting from his heart.

In response, Hwang apologized for disappointing the victims and soccer fans who cared for and cheered for him, and said he would do his best to recover the damage.

He also asked the court for leniency, saying he would do his best as a soccer player.

Hwang is accused of filming a private video several times without consent from the two victims, or of recording a video call that exposed his body.
