"I can't stand it anymore"...Fraha bans 'night bar pilgrimage'
Prague, the Czech Republic, which is plagued by drunk tourists, has stepped up to block a late-night "bar pilgrimage" package for group tourists.

According to CNN and AFP on the 15th local time, Prague City recently banned all guided tours of night bars after 10 p.m. organized by travel agencies.

As a result, a guided tour of bars by travel agencies from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day in Prague's first district, where Karlgyo and Prague Castle are concentrated, has become impossible.

"Praha wants a culturally full and wealthy tourist, not a tourist for an overnight drinking party," said Deputy Mayor Jiri Pospisil. The Czech Republic is the world's top beer consumer, claiming to be the dominant producer of

lager beer.

As of last year, it was estimated that the Kuomintang consumed 128 liters of beer on average.

The problem has arisen since the introduction of low-cost aviation, when large numbers of British tourists flocked for a "bachelorette party" aimed at intoxicating, and the entire city began to suffer from excessive drinking tourism.

Above all, residents of District 1, which is also designated as a UNESCO cultural heritage site, have raised strong complaints that daily life is impossible due to drunk tourists at night.

Despite opposition from some travel agencies, the city of Prague says it will not have a significant impact on the tourism industry itself because it only bans organized guided tours.

"Travelers visiting bars in the city have been a headache not only for Prague citizens but also for other tourists," Czech Hotel and Restaurant Association President Baflav Snarek said. "It does not stop anyone from making a pilgrimage to bars at night in groups of their own."

Various measures are being introduced in major European tourist destinations to limit the influx of tourists after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Venice, Italy, has limited group tours to 25 people and banned the use of loudspeakers, while Barcelona, Spain, is considering banning travelers from renting apartments until 2028.
