Jin Sung-joon, chairman of the policy committee of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized the government and the ruling party, which are responsible for national security, for blaming the opposition and others.

At the parliamentary audit meeting, Chairman Jin said, "The Democratic Party of Korea instigated unrest due to unexpected security concerns," and asked if it was the opposition party that intensified the confrontation between the two Koreas.

He then pointed out that the most important thing is the safety of our people, saying that residents of Gyeonggi-do border with Gangwon-do recently rushed to the presidential office and appealed for easing tensions.

He also strongly condemned the North's provocation of bombing the Gyeongui Line and the East Sea Line inter-Korean road, but stressed the need to resolve the escalating river-to-river situation as soon as possible through sincere proposals for dialogue.
