Ishiba's Cabinet's approval rating in the 20% range of 'degenerative crisis' ahead of the general election
A survey showed that Shigeru Ishiba's approval rating of the Japanese cabinet, which was launched on the 1st, is only around 20 percent, which is a "decrease crisis" with the general election just around the corner.

According to a poll conducted from the 11th to the 14th, Ishiba's Cabinet approval rating was 28%, the lowest since 2000 based on the launch of the Cabinet.

According to the approval rating at the launch of the Cabinet of Jiji News Agency, the previous Cabinet of Kishida Fumio was 40.3%, the Cabinet of Suga Yoshihide was 51.2%, and the second Cabinet of Shinzo Abe was 54%, all far above the current Cabinet of Ishiba.

The lowest approval rating since 2000 was 33.3% for Yoshiro Mori's cabinet.

Local media analyzed that the reason for the low approval rating was that Prime Minister Ishiba failed to show a different appearance from the previous Kishida Cabinet in personnel affairs and policies amid the aftermath of the Liberal Democratic Party's "secret fund scandal."
