Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Association, sent a check to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, saying that the International Olympic Committee and the IOC are closely watching the situation in the Korean sports community.

Lee held a press conference at a hotel in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, where the National Sports Festival will be held, and said the IOC has been inquiring about the cause of the conflict between the sports association and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, adding that the IOC has doubts about the recent domestic situation.

The fact that the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Board of Audit and Inspection are investigating the sports association in all directions is interpreted as a claim that it violated the "Olympic Charter" that guarantees political autonomy.

Chairman Lee Ki-heung also made it clear that he would reject the sports fair committee's improvement proposal recommended by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Fairness, saying that the composition process has already begun and cannot be changed.

The Sports Fair Trade Commission has the power to approve Chairman Lee's bid for a third term, which is under the spotlight of "self-examination."

When asked about his bid for a second term, Chairman Lee said that he only needs to go through the process to become a candidate, and that it is not a situation that is blocked from being blocked.

[Lee Ki-heung / President of the Korea Sports Council: The IOC is also showing examples of FIFA, so it's coming out of FIFA, and there's a problem with our sports association.... They search very closely every day. There was such an inquiry from us. What's wrong with you these days? I will tell you that OC is also watching with doubts about the domestic situation.
