"Don't be fooled by the win for free".a sharp rise in consumer damage

Attention is needed as related consumer damage is increasing, such as inducing membership by baiting the winning of free accommodation tickets and preventing the withdrawal of subscription.


From 2021 to June this year, a total of 580 applications for damage relief related to Yusakondo membership were filed with the Korea Consumer Agency.

It is a contract that uses resorts or pensions for the contract period and receives a deposit back when it expires, and it is found that operators called to induce membership by saying that they won the free accommodation ticket for condos.

By type of damage, 74% of the damage was related to contract termination, such as refusing to withdraw the subscription or imposing excessive penalties when the contract was terminated in the middle.

In particular, there were 105 applications for damage relief by the first half of this year, up 72% from the same period last year.

The Korea Consumer Agency asked you to sign a contract carefully without being misled by details such as winning free accommodation tickets or exemption from admission fees.
