"KIA Tigers V12 wishes..."Gwangju City to Improve Champions Field Facilities

Gwangju Metropolitan City has started repairing old stadium facilities along with special transportation measures ahead of the Korean Series match between the Kia Tigers in professional baseball.

Gwangju Metropolitan City announced a comprehensive support plan for the successful hosting of the Korean Series yesterday (17th).

On the day of the Korean Series home game, parking on the road near Champions Field is fully allowed, and free special buses are operated for away visitors.

In addition, the Champions Field will be open for screen broadcasting in Game 3 and 4, where the away game will be held.

Gwangju Metropolitan City plans to pay for the repair of old facilities, such as maintenance of grandstands and tables, and complete them before next season.
