I electrocuted him with an iron skewer, butchered a dog...a suspended sentence in one's 60s

The Chuncheon District Court sentenced a 64-year-old man, A, to a fine of 3 million won and a one-year suspended sentence for brutally killing a dog after being asked to slaughter a dog.

Mr. A was briefly charged with electrocuting five dogs of unknown breed with iron skewers and slaughtering them by removing their fur with fire from last year to early this year.

Mr. A, who requested a formal trial in defiance of the summary order of the fine, admitted all the crimes and appealed for leniency, and the court sentenced him to a fine but suspended his execution.
