background
The National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee issued an order to accompany Kim Gun-hee and her mother Choi Eun-soon, who were adopted as witnesses in the parliamentary audit of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office today (21st).

The Judiciary Committee voted to pass the issue of an accompanying order, saying that Kim's mother and daughter, who were adopted as witnesses in the parliamentary audit of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, did not submit a statement of reasons for her absence and did not respond to the National Assembly's request for attendance.

Members of the People's Power protested strongly against it. Kwak Kyu-taek criticized, "The issuance of a companion order to the current first lady is unprecedented and has no effect other than disgrace."

The opposition party, on the other hand, claimed that it was the legitimate power of the National Assembly. Rep. Park Kyun-taek of the Democratic Party of Korea said, "The rule of law is ignored and the people are hurt by Mrs. Kim," and stressed, "It is necessary to enforce it according to the law."

We prepared a plenary session of the Judiciary Committee, a video.
