Suspicion of Illegal Rebate of 'Koryo Pharmaceutical' Arrest Warrant, etc.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has requested an arrest warrant for three doctors and a hospital official, including Kim, who is suspected of receiving illegal rebates from Korea Pharmaceutical.

Kim and others are accused of receiving a portion of the sales price of the product as a rebate in exchange for prescribing Koryo Pharmaceutical products.

The investigation into the validity of arrest warrants will be held tomorrow (22nd) at 4 p.m. at the Seoul Central District Court.

Earlier, the police applied for an arrest warrant for two executives and employees of Korea Pharmaceutical Co., who are suspected of violating the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, but the court rejected it for reasons such as guaranteeing defense rights.
