Ukrainian media reported on the 21st that 18 North Korean soldiers who were dispatched to Russia and left their positions without permission were captured and detained by Russian forces.

Local media said 18 North Korean soldiers who left the unit while training at a position in Kursk, Russia, 7 kilometers from the Ukrainian border on the 14th were arrested two days later in Bryansk, Russia, 60 kilometers from the breakaway point on the 16th.
