Truck crashes utility pole in Suyu-dong, Seoul...a major blackout

At around 3:15 p.m. today (21st), a dump truck hit a utility pole at a road construction site in Suyu-dong, Seoul.

The dump truck driver was found to have caused an accident while reversing without seeing the telephone pole properly.

Korea Electric Power Corporation is conducting emergency restoration work after cutting off electricity to 146 households in the area.
