Chief Entertainment, the production company of SBS Plus and ENA entertainment program "I Am Solo," was fined for violating the rights of broadcast writers.

On the 18th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism imposed a fine of 1.5 million won on the Chief Entertainment for violating the Artist Welfare Act after deliberation and resolution by the Artist Rights Guarantee and Sexual harassment and sexual violence Relief Committee.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism pointed out that Chief Entertainment's failure to write a contract with a freelance writer is a violation of the Artist Welfare Act.

Accordingly, he recommended corrections, such as signing contracts on an equal footing with the writers, handing out contracts to the writers, and submitting measures to prevent recurrence. The conflict between the producer of

{I'm Solo} and the broadcast writer was revealed to the surface in April. Conflicts arose over the fact that producer Nam's child was named as a writer for working on subtitles and the fact that he did not write a contract with a broadcast writer.

In response, the Korea Broadcasting Writers Association pointed out that producer Nam interfered with the writer's payment of the re-run fee without properly writing the writing contract, and strongly criticized him for not making efforts to solve the problem.
