"Transfer of Muan Integration at Civil and Military Airport, Government and National Assembly, please"

Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung called for the government and the National Assembly to come forward before the integration of Gwangju Civil and Military airports into Muan Airport during a parliamentary audit.

Mayor Kang said, "Even if the three parties of Gwangju City, Jeollanam-do Province, and Muan-gun meet, there is no progress on the integration of civilian and military airports."

In particular, he accepted calls for an apology for remarks aimed at South Jeolla Province and Muan-gun, such as "Hamheung Chasa" and "bad conscience," but criticized the lack of discussions about relocating the airport.
