Posting a notice of "Murder at Bucheon Station"...Police track down the author

An online post about killing at Bucheon Station was posted, and the police launched an investigation.

The Bucheon Wonmi Police Station in Gyeonggi Province received a report yesterday (21st) that a notice of murder was posted on the online community at around 5 p.m.

The author was found to have posted an article saying, "I will kill you at Bucheon Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 at around 10 a.m. on the 22nd," and the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's cyber investigation team is tracking the author based on the IP of the post.

In the area of Bucheon Station, two police stations under jurisdiction and about 40 police officers from the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency are deployed for intensive patrols.

According to the National Police Agency, a total of 298 people were arrested for posting a notice of murder online from August last year to the beginning of this month.
